Privacy Policy

ProxyBrain is a macOS app plus a small account and licensing service at api.proxxybrain.com. This page explains what that service stores about you, why, and who else is involved. The short version: we keep what's needed to sell you a license and let it run on one Mac, and nothing about what happens inside your interviews.

What we never receive

ProxyBrain does its work on your Mac. Microphone audio, screen content, transcripts, questions, answers and reports are processed locally and sent only to the AI tool you connect (for example Claude Code, Codex or Antigravity), under that provider's own terms. None of it is sent to ProxyBrain's servers.

What we store

Why we use it

To create your account, process your purchase, issue and validate your license, keep it to one Mac at a time, let you move it between Macs, protect the service from abuse, and contact you about your purchase. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or build profiles.

Who else processes it

How long we keep it

Account and license records are kept while your account exists. Expired sign-in sessions are deleted. Backups roll off after at most 180 days.

Your choices

You can see your account details and release your license from your account page. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account, email us at the address below; we'll reply within 30 days. Deleting your account deactivates any license tied to it.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. The Mac app checks the server's certificate against a key it ships with, so a proxy can't read its license traffic. Data and backups are encrypted at rest, and the database isn't reachable from the internet.

Children

ProxyBrain isn't intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, email account holders.
